Kyle Shillinglaw
Education Director
Kyle Shillinlaw joined the Penn 4-H Center staff in February of 2007 and in his time here has served as the Asst. Director, Summer Camp Director, Interim Center Director, and has been the Education Director for the last 10 years. His role at camp involves the coordination of all educational field trips. Kyle’s dream of being a camp program director began with a life-changing summer at YMCA Camp Kern in Ohio where he spent 5 magical summers. His journey has also taken him to Camp High Trails in California as well as Morgan’s Canoe in Ohio and Morgan’s Jungle Lodge in Costa Rica before coming to Penn. Kyle has a B.S. in Recreation from Ohio University and has worked in the field for nearly 20 years. He would love to talk with you about how our programs can benefit your students. He can be reached at [email protected]
Kyle excels at building campfires, roasting marshmallows, and in his free time is always on the hunt to make a delicious meal from some of the wildlife on Penn’s campus.
