Astronomy
This evening program leads students through an exploration of the night sky that just isn’t possible inside the confines of a regular school day. Students will learn about moon phases, planetary alignment, size and distance, and the Earth’s relationship to other celestial bodies. Students will use start finders, star charts and binoculars to find various constellations and bright stars. We’ll even use a telescope to take a close look at specific celestial objects like the moon and planets.
