In the fall of 2008, an amazing group of educators helped us deliver the busiest school season yet.   We are excited that a core group of them agreed to return in the Spring of 2009, and together with a new group of recruits, will do great things!

2009 Summer Camp Staff

The Betsy-Jeff Penn 4H Education Center

seeks intrepid, mature individuals who love working with kids to become summer staff.  Positions may range from summer day camp counselor to residential summer camp cabin counselors to activity specialists &

leadership positions.

Grant Award Opens Door For

The O.R.I.E.N.T. Project

   

A generous gift from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund will allow the Center to go forward in designing and implementing a new, GPS-based, middle school science program.   More information on this new opportunity for middle school classrooms...

three of the Center's school programs.  (Environmental

Education, Soaring Thru Spaces & The ORIENT Project)
